Launched in 2020, BotsIQ’s Post-Secondary Summer Internship Program provides youth ages 18-22 years old with a paid work experience at local manufacturing companies.

The BotsIQ Post-Secondary Internship Program has three goals: to enhance post-secondary students’ knowledge of manufacturing career opportunities and expand their professional network; to increase youth confidence in technical and career readiness skills; and to prepare post-secondary students to successfully earn an industry recognized credential.

Launched in 2019, BotsIQ’s Close the Loop supports high school students interested in a career in advanced manufacturing or robotics.

Through the program, youth have access to valuable career exploration opportunities such as: facility tours, job shadowing experiences, internships, scholarships, and more.

Held at its Training & Education Center in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, BotsIQ hosts a variety of hands-on afterschool camps throughout the school year to engage elementary, middle, and high school students.

According to the US Census, the American workforce is about 47% women, but only 30% work in manufacturing. It is crucial to provide girls with a safe, engaging, and impactful opportunity to explore manufacturing careers.

In 2022, BotsIQ hosted its first high school Girls Exploring Engineering Day that included hands-on activities and career conversations with industry professionals.  Since then, BotsIQ has expanded this initiative to introduce manufacturing to girls from elementary through high school that includes more events, camps, and afterschool programs.
