What is BotsIQ Close the Loop?

BotsIQ Close the Loop provides opportunities for high school students to discover, explore, and learn about the manufacturing industry and its in-demand careers.  Through individual career plans, BotsIQ staff will identify advanced manufacturing and robotics career-related experiences that align to the student’s interests and skills.

Who can participate?

Currently, this program is available to high school students in Fayette and Westmoreland Counties.  To find out if you qualify, contact Maria Campieri, BotsIQ Youth Services Manager, at [email protected].

What is the first step?

Qualified students need to have a parent/guardian complete the BotsIQ Close the Loop Youth Application and submit it, along with support documentation, to Maria Campieri at [email protected].

Youth Application

Opportunities include:

Students learn about the products and/or services a company provides and what it is like to work in their field of interest.

Interactive professional interview that permits students to learn more about a particular career path within the manufacturing industry.

Students gain an in-depth look into a particular career, speak with professionals, observe a company’s operations, and envision the possibilities of their future.

Internships provide a student with experience and exposure to hands-on skills with a local company.

Students have opportunities to apply for scholarships to support their post-secondary manufacturing career training.
